The golfers were nominated to dump freezing water over their heads and gamely stepped up to the challenge, posting a Vine video of their efforts.
To laughter from those watching, the pair threw the icy water over each other in turn.
And then they passed on the nominations.
Tiger challenged Nike co-founder Phil Knight and tennis star Rafael Nadal.
Meanwhile, Rory wants former US president George W Bush, Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney and Suits star Maghan Markle to get soaked for a good cause.
The internet craze has been raising awareness and funds for charities, including neurodegenerative illness ALS in the US and Macmillan Cancer Support in the UK.
David Beckham has also joined in, following up with nominations for Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Leonardo DiCaprio after hundreds of thousands of people 'liked' his own ice bucket video on Facebook.
Post by David Beckham.
On Monday, This Morning's Eamonn Holmes 'helped' Ruth Langsford accept a challenge from Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid - avoiding the ice himself and instead throwing a bucketful over his brave wife!
