The boys are set to pack out the Odyssey Arena for four nights as part of their world tour - that's more than 30,000 screaming fans.
And local 1D fans are already getting excited over the thought of Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam in their home city.
They're well known for being enthusiastic for their love of One Direction, which formed during the 2010 series of the X Factor.
Just over a year ago, the boys came to UTV and hundreds of fans queued up outside Havelock House for a glimpse of their singing heroes.
The pop sensations are now so used to trying to escape the crowds that it was rumoured they had booked rooms at a number of Belfast's finest hotels to try to outfox fans.
But UTV can report two of the most popular celeb haunts said any 1D fans waiting outside their hotels would be sadly disappointed, while others declined to comment on the presence of the chart-topping band.
All four of the Belfast dates are sold out, and promoters say queuing will not be allowed before 5pm.
They have also banned audio and video recorders from the concerts, while glosticks, umbrellas and plastic bottles will not be let through security.
Earlier this week the boys - including Mullingar native Niall - entertained crowds at Dublin's O2.
And performing is hungry work, so while in the Irish capital the five-piece devoured a massive delivery - including 100 chicken wings - from their favourite restaurant, Nandos.
One Direction are frequently seen eating - or tweeting - about the chicken dishes, so are either of the Belfast restaurants gearing up for an extra special delivery?
Their names on everyone's lips at the Ormeau Avenue eatery, where staff told UTV they wouldn't be surprised if 1D made a visit.
It's becoming somewhat of a celeb haunt, with Game of Thrones star James Cosmo dining there, and actor Ben Chaplin becoming a bit of a regular.
At Nando's Victoria Square venue, waiters are poised for the hungry singers, who hold a black card which means they're entitled to all their meals for free.
So with accommodation sussed and food sorted, all that's left is to see the show!
