The Wrecking Ball singer will perform at the Odyssey Arena in the city on 19 May.
She will also take to the stage at Dublin's O2 Arena the following night.
Miley's latest album Bangerz reached number one in the UK Album Charts, with two singles Wrecking Ball and We Can't Stop already selling over 8m copies worldwide.
The young singer has courted controversy in recent months after she was seen dancing suggestively with Robin Thicke during this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
The incident led to a public war of words with Irish singer Sinead O'Connor who wrote an open letter to Miley telling her the music industry "will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think it's what you wanted".
Miley responded to the letter by mocking Sinead's previous mental health issues on social networking site Twitter, prompting the star to demand an apology.
Miley continued to hit the headlines in November after appearing onstage at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam and lighting what appeared to be a joint.
Tickets for Miley Cyrus live at Belfast's Odyssey Arena go on sale from Friday 13 December at 9am.
