Emmerdale's Megan Macey has had enough of sister-in-law Charity worming her way into every aspect of her life, and on Friday, after a few drinks, decides to vent her frustrations.

Speaking to This Morning's Eamonn and Ruth, actress Gaynor Faye revealed just how Megan voices her opinion at the grand re-opening of Home Farm.

She said: "(Charity) has taken it all from Megan - the brother, the gorgeous Home Farm, the business, everything and it's all going to come crashing down.

"Leyla (Harding) said that they are going to go (the re-opening), but I don't think that Megan is expecting the grand event that is going to go on.

"And they've got this little tiny (wedding) stall, because they haven't had a chance to get it ready and everyone else has got all these balloons, so she feels really embarrassed and humiliated.

"She's consumed with anger and champagne."

With Megan having enough of Charity she makes a spectacle during the event by drunkenly verbally abusing her sister-in-law in front of the gathered guests.

And one of those guest is none other than Olympic gold medal cyclist Victoria Pendleton - who has been booked to officially open the site ahead of the Grand Depart of the Tour de France 2014.

Gaynor revealed to Eamonn and Ruth the excitement amongst the Emmerdale cast when Victoria arrived on set to film her scenes.

"It's not every day you get an Olympian on your cast list," she said. "So we were all really like: "Oh, she's here, she's here!"
