Max Clifford has been dealt another blow as his wife has filed for divorce.

Max Clifford's wife files for divorce

Last month, the public relations guru was sentenced to eight years in prison after he was convicted of a number of sexual assaults on women and girls dating back to the 1970s.

Now his wife of four years, Jo, is moving ahead with divorce proceedings.

Her lawyer Raymond Tooth confirms their separation in a statement to the Daily Mail, which reads: "They are divorcing. There are no disputed matters. Everything has been sorted out amicably so it's all done."

The couple wed in 2010, seven years after the death of his first wife, Liz.
