An auction lot anticipated to receive keen interest worldwide is a Seamus Heaney signed copy of The Door Stands Open.
This publication was the first by the Irish Writers' Centre, conceived by Seamus Heaney and Cathal McCabe, designed by Pawel Tryzno and printed by the Book Art Museum, Lodz.
Limited to 250 signed copies, the library is auctioning No 11 at a reserve of £1,000.
Julie Andrews, Director of the Linen Hall Library, says: "The support for this auction to raise much needed funds for the Library has been fantastic.
"Many of our patrons, writers, artists and NI businesses have generously donated items. And, of course, there are many pieces from our own archives which book collectors will love.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire unique additions for your own collection or purchase as a gift."
The list of items for auction is available to view on the library's website.
