The Australian singer recently parted ways from her longtime manager, Terry Blamey, after a partnership of more than 25 years.
The Sunday Mirror newspaper reported the move was part of plans to give up her pop career.
However, Minogue, who began her career as a child actress in Australia before landing a role in soap opera Neighbours, has now insisted she isn't giving up on music.
In a post on her Twitter page, she simply writes: "Not quitting."
A statement from Blamey read: "Kylie has decided to pull back slightly from the pressures of her career and devote more time to herself and her acting career. This is not to say she will be retiring from music, just taking a bit of a break."
