The ex-glamour model, also known as Jordan, claims cagefighter Alex Reid kept a mobile device following their divorce in March 2012 and a specialist force called Operation Tuleta, which is run by London's Metropolitan Police, is now investigating the claims.
A police spokesperson says: "We can confirm that Operation Tuleta is looking into an allegation of breach of privacy that may be connected to the alleged theft of a mobile telephone. We are not prepared to discuss further at this time."
Price wed Reid in 2010 but they split in early 2011. She has since remarried and is now expecting a baby with Kieran Hayler, who she wed on a beach in the Bahamas in January.
