Katie Melua gets special wedding track

The couple exchanged vows in the Nash Conservatory at The Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, west London in front of guests including producer William Orbit, Prince Pieter-Christiaan Michiel of the Netherlands and songwriter Batt, who mentored Melua at the beginning of her career.

Batt ensured his friend's big day was one to remember by creating a tune especially for the nuptials, while Orbit DJ'd at the reception.

In a post on her Twitter page on Sunday, Melua writes: "Had an incredible day! Mike Batt thank you for writing us such a great song for our wedding and thank you William Orbit for a fab DJ set!!"

The Closest Thing To Crazy hitmaker also shared a wedding photograph with her online followers and added: "Big thank you for all your messages! I'm hitched!!"
