Suzanne Shaw has admitted she has been "quite emotional" since her elimination from Dancing On Ice on Sunday.

The former Hear'Say singer left the competition following a skate-off with rugby player Kyran Bracken, despite earning high scores from the ice panel.

While she maintained her composure after judges decided to save Kyran, Suzanne confessed to This Morning she has been feeling quite upset about the result.

"It is really difficult; it is a bitter pill to take when you feel like you have put everything into it and the aches and pains that you go through.

"I've got to be honest, I'm gutted, but it is what it is."

I actually burst into tears.

Suzanne was shocked to be placed in the skate-off as a result of the public vote, as she received high praise from the panel for her showcase routine with partner Matt Evers.

Dancing to Alannah Miles' Black Velvet, Ashley Roberts told her: "That was sultry, sexy and sizzling."

Her appearance in the skate-off was a first for the singer, as she never experienced it when she took part in the show in 2008.

"What was so lovely was being in the skate-off with Kyran and him going "It's actually ok".

"I was like "It's not though! It's so nerve wrecking!"

Dancing On Ice returns to UTV on Sunday from 6.15pm.
