The trend for snapping self-portraits and posting them online has proved that even world leaders are unable to resist the poser urge.
So when the Irish Farmers' Journal decided to run a competition to find the best Selfie On The Farm, there were plenty of eager entrants.
"Two fine beards," Peter Desmond from Ballinhassig said, entering his snap below.
Linda Costello's snap was captioned: "Sheepdog says: 'Must not blink'."
"Little does he know how much I really love my goose ... Yum yum," Patricia Farrelly from Ballyjamesduff said.
But the winning entry proved to be PJ Ryan from Newport in Co Tipperary, who snapped a selfie of himself with his cows in the background - pictured at the top of the article.
It was sent in to the competition by his daughter Aisling.
"Dad was helping my younger sister with her Agricultural Science project when he took the picture," she said.
The winner was chosen based on how many Facebook 'likes' it received and PJ's pic racked up support from around 1,750 people.
All the entries are outstanding in their field though. Unless they're in a milking parlour ...
