The former Blue Peter host failed to wow with her routine to Donny Osmond's Puppy Love on Sunday night.
Judge Jason Gardiner compared her to "a cheap bottle of champagne on ice" and described her routine as "too saccharine".
She then skated for survival against Keith Chegwin at the end of school disco week.
Anthea and partner Andy danced to Michael Buble's rendition of Feeling Good, but Keith won more votes from the judges after performing to Rihanna's Disturbia.
Anthea you looked divine, but Keith, you skated divinely.
Anthea gave an emotional farewell although she agreed with head judge Robin Cousins that her time on the rink had to come to an end.
She said: "I'm sounding a little bit wobbly because I'm going to miss all my friends here.
"But Robin's right - I've probably got to my level when it comes to skating."
"A million thanks to [Andy] because he's been amazing, and so patient, and has got me to where I am today," she added.
Earlier she told host Christine Bleakley: "I'm actually wearing one of Pamela (Anderson)'s old dresses - I don't know if that's a good thing or not!"
The former Baywatch star famously suffered a wardrobe malfunction before losing the first skate-off of the series.
EastEnders actor Matt Lapinskas topped the leaderboard after performing to his own favourite song from his school days, 5ive's Slam Dunk Da Funk.
