Robin and fellow judges Karen Barber and Ashley Roberts joined the stars taking part in the TV contest as they trod the red carpet for a launch event at London Television Centre on Thursday.
This year's series hosted by Philip Schofield and Christine Bleakley includes 14 famous faces taking to the ice once more.
Taking part in the all-star show are some of the outstanding performers from previous runs, including previous winners Suzanne Shaw and Ray Quinn, as well as memorable flops, like comic Joe Pasquale and ex-EastEnders Todd Carty.
Footballer David Seaman - who is to skate with his real-life partner Frankie Poultney - will feature along with Gary Lucy and Jorgie Porter.
The other competitors include Bonnie Langford, Waterloo Road actress Zaraah Abrahams, Coronation Street's Hayley Tamaddon and Gareth Gates. Last year's champion Olympian Beth Tweddle, rugby player Kyran Bracken and Sam Attwater complete the line-up.
They are being mentored by ice legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
"At the moment, it's an overwhelming excitement and I know that probably by the end we will find that it is really sad," Karen Barber told This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on Thursday.
"We'll be very grateful that we've had so long. It's been a gift," she added.
Former Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts said she was happy she was invited back for the final series.
"They asked me back for the final season, so I'm happy to be here. 2014... going out with a bang; it's going to be a lot of fun."
Dancing On Ice begins on UTV on 6 January at 6.15pm.
