Sarah caught up with the country music legend after he announced he would be playing a string of dates in Dublin ahead of his comeback tour.

The singer initially announced two gigs at the venue, but demand for tickets led to three more dates being announced - all of which have sold out.

Brooks last played at Croke Park 17 years ago and he said the venue is very special for him and his band.

"Just to remember (Croke Park) would be overwhelming," he said.

"You have got to understand this is the home of some pretty special memories."

Brooks announced his retirement from music in 2001 because he didn't want to be away from his children as they were growing up.

But now he is back on the country music scene, and he told Sarah Croke Park was definitely the place to make his return.

"When you take off as long as we have from the business - in the middle of the night when you open your eyes and you see memories, you usually see this place (Croke Park) - that's how good it was."

Also on The Magazine this week Sarah is left in awe at the amazing rugby skills of 12-year-old Ross Dougan, whose YouTube video featuring unimaginable tricks has left no-one in doubt he is a rugby star of the future.

Sarah also chats to Ireland and Ulster rugby player Tommy Bowe and asks him what he thinks of young Ross' skills.

And in the studio is country singer Triona Carville, who is playing at the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival next week.

The Magazine airs on UTV on Friday from 8pm.
