Viewers will see the much-loved matriarch make her return this week, as she arrives to help her son Steve run the Rovers Return, much to the annoyance of his girlfriend Michelle Connor.
"The first thing you see is a black cab pull up outside the Rovers and this leg gets out," explained Beverly in behind-the-scenes footage.
"Then it cuts to inside the Rovers and there is this fight going on (between Tina and Kylie).
"So Liz walks into the middle of this storming fight, tells them both to stop it, and eventually says to Kylie "get out".
"And Kylie says "but it's not your pub" and Liz says "Oh yes it is!" and it is just fantastic.
"I thought "I love this, I love this"."
The writers have decided that they want Liz to be great fun, but also there is going to be some quite high drama as well. So I've got the best of both worlds - I can't wait."

Liz's return is the result of Steve buying the Rovers, with the help of his mum, in a bid to please Michelle.
Yet unbeknown to both of them, Liz has no intention of being the 'silent' partner as was expected and as a result Michelle is not happy about having to play "second fiddle" in the Rovers hierarchy.
But, as Beverly revealed, the two ladies will soon find some common ground.
"What is really good is that suddenly, after the initial exchanges, and wondering how the land is going to lie with both of them, they begin to get this unlikely bond.
"It's the two of them against Steve and so he is bombarded from all sides, which is really good."
The actress added that that she has enjoyed returning to the Street and is really pleased with what is in store for the great Liz McDonald.
"Coming back to the Rovers Return is fantastic; it just feels like coming home again. It is sort of almost like first day back at school.
"Let's face it; Liz McDonald is never boring is she? And I got the scripts and I just thought "this is heaven, this is fantastic!""
Coronation Street is on UTV on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7.30pm.
