There's just under a month to go before Christmas, but Lynn Nelson, who lives in Sandy Row, is already prepared for the holidays.
She has erected a dazzling display at her house, which is transformed each year with over 5,000 lights on the exterior walls and Christmas decorations including a giant inflatable Santa Claus and moving reindeer.
Ms Nelson said everyone in neigbourhood enjoys visiting to see the spectacle.
"I've been doing it (for) 15 years, mostly for the kids, the kids love it, neighbours love it, people come to see it all the time," she said.
She said it has taken her years to collect all the decorations and she has even donated some to friends who help her adorn the house every winter.
Ms Nelson is keen to keep the tradition going for her family of seven daughters and one granddaughter, despite the hefty electricity bill at the end of the season, which she admits is "a bit dear".
