Linfield boss David Jeffrey made the headlines this week when a video of him singing a song about Glentoran defender Jimmy Callacher went viral.

On Thursday night the Glens released a statement announcing that Callacher had turned down a new contract and that Linfield had approached their rivals about the possibility of signing the 22 year old.

Jeffrey, at a Linfield supporters function, was then filmed singing a song that thanked Glentoran for both Sean Ward and Callacher.

The video has since attracted over 10,000 views and much media attention. Jeffrey apologised to Callacher, Glentoran and Linfield for his actions, whilst admitting he found the video cringeworthy.

The Social Club reflect on the bizarre incident in this week's episode. Has Jeffrey over stepped the mark, or is it a big fuss over nothing?

Elsewhere, we ask whether it's fair the Cliftonville can not walk down the Shore Road to Seaview, for this season's Boxing Day derby against Crusaders.

On the field, we look at wins for Linfield, Cliftonville, Portadown and Warrenpoint Town before previewing this weekend's games, which sees Ards take on Glentoran and Ballymena United face Crusaders.
