Dodgy dealings

The week begins in Emmerdale with a demented Rhona calling up her dealer to pick up some pills!

She is so desperate that she ignores the fact that they are both unboxed and unbranded, and she beats them into her!!

Then Vanessa attempts to apologise for confessing that she "likes to wear more comfortable shoes" only to be interrupted by Rhona boking her ring, and vast quantities of blood! Needless to say, she has to be rushed into hospital where the doctor's questioning really irritates her and she discharges herself - but she still has to explain to a bemused Paddy where she has been ...

Indeed, he is so concerned by her mental state that he books them a wee break in Whitby, and if that doesn't send her completely doo-lally I'll eat my hat!

Meanwhile Vanessa decides that it is time she left the village for the sake of her own sanity.

Debbie is still worried that Cain may have worked out that she and Cameron are "playing horses" again, and she begs Cameron not to go public until after Gennie's funeral!

Poor Laurel is constantly jittery and too scared to leave the house, then, when she thinks she sees her attacker entering the cafe, she puts herself in danger by taking matters into her own hands.

Meanwhile the "rough as get out" Kerry is next to be taken to hospital, when the tattoo on her foot turns septic! How lovely!!

Amy seems to have given up on her mother altogether, then, on top of everything Pollard and Val are shocked to read that baby Kyle's adoptive parents are dead!!

Of course they are really worried about how Amy is going to take such awful news. Then when Amy approaches Cain, she is devastated by his total lack of interest in what happens to his son.

And Belle feels guilty after having a go at Gemma for going "up them sturs" with Sean!!! Let's all hope that Gemma bathed in carbolic afterwards, scrubbing "all" with a wire brush!!

Meanwhile, over in Weatherfield ...

David's plans for revenge come to fruition as he drives Nick away in a van. Nick is forced to confess all, but his apologies fall on the "wee hallion's" deaf ears.

So an enraged David steers the van into the path of an incoming lorry!!

Faced with the reality of what he has done, the wee hallion is guilt-ridden as Nick's life hangs in the balance.

Meanwhile the bold Tracy nags Rob about her equal business role as they open their shop. Peter seizes the opportunity to exploit Rob's unease as he suggests that the pair move in together.

As the week goes on, the feud deepens between Rob and Peter, while Tracy sets her sights on the bookies flat.

Gary goes part-time at work in order to spend more time with little Jake.

Tina returns from her holiday determined to move on from her turmoil over Jake, but faces a tough time as Izzy and Gary plan party at the Rovers.

And Jenna gets a job in the cafe, but Lloyd interprets Mandy's disappointment as snobbery. So as Lloyd and Mandy continue to quarrel, they realise that their relationship may be on the rocks!

Beth (rough as get out!) is forced to apologise for Craig's behaviour as he plays a prank on Norris. By way of an apology, Craig agrees to deliver newspapers without pay, but Beth's concerns grow as she discovers that he has dumped them!!

Will she eat the bake' aff him?

Did Rose Kennedy have a black dress?!!
