Crusaders captain Colin Coates will miss the first leg of his team's Europa Cup tie due to holiday commitments.
The Northern Ireland defender will be in Minorca when the game takes place.
But he will be available for the second leg of the tie, the draw for which will be made next Monday.
Later on Coates will have the honour of leading his side out for a glamour friendly against Liverpool at Ravenhill, better known as the home of Ulster Rugby.
"It should be a fantastic occasion with a big crowd and a terrific atmosphere," Coates told UTV.
"There should be plenty of interest in Liverpool who have promised to bring over a strong squad.
"The fact that they have an Ulsterman (Brendan Rodgers) as manager should also add to the occasion.
"I've been to Ravenhill before to watch Ulster play and the atmosphere there is fabulous."
