Four charged over Portrush stabbing

Four people are due in court in Ballymena on Saturday.

Four people have been charged in relation to the stabbing of a man in Portrush, Co Antrim.

The incident happened in the Causeway Street area at around 12.30am on Friday.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment with a non-life threatening injury.

A 24-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon and threats to kill.

A second 24-year-old man and an 18-year-old man have also been charged with attempted murder.

A 19-year-old woman has been charged with possession of a Class A drug, incitement to murder and assisting offenders.

All four are due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates' Court on Saturday morning.
