Belfast pensioner shaken after burglary

The woman was left badly shaken.

A pensioner in her 90s has been left badly shaken after two men forced their way into her north Belfast home and stole money on Saturday night.

It happened on Cambrai Steet, at about 7:30pm and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the burglary to come forward.

The men who are described as being in their early 30s and about six foot tall searched a number of rooms in the property before making off with the cash.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time or who has any information is asked to contact Detectives in Tennent Street on 0845 600 8000.
