Police have advised the Killowen Road in Rostrevor is impassable due to flood waters.

A yellow weather warning is in place as much of Northern Ireland has been under a heavy downpour on Saturday.

Further bands of heavy rain and strong to gale force winds are expected to continue into Sunday and there is a risk of further localised flooding.

The rain has also caused five Irish Premiership football games to be postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
