Man dies after Ballymena car crash

It is believed two vehicles were involved in the collision.

A 66-year-old man has died after two cars crashed in Ballymena.

The accident happened on the Lisnevenagh Road near Rosses Factory at around 1.25pm on Tuesday.

Police said the victim was the driver of one of the vehicles.

The driver of the other car is receiving treatment on injuries which are not believed to life-threatening.

The Lisnevenagh Road has reopened to traffic.

Anyone who witnessed the accident, which involved a red Peugeot 205 and a grey Suzuki Grand Vitara, is asked to pass on information to the PSNI.
