A man has suffered serious internal injuries after a crash close to Nutts Corner, Co Antrim.
The two car collision happened on the Tully Road, close to a service station, on Wednesday at 5.45pm.
The man, 44, was injured when his Volkswagen Passat was in collision with a Vauxhall Astra.
A police spokesperson said: "He was taken to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. His condition is now described as serious but stable."
The driver of the other car suffered a broken foot.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
