New Spider-Man Andrew Garfield has heaped praise on his actress girlfriend Emma Stone, hailing The Help star as "very special".
Garfield and Stone took to the red carpet for the UK premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man in London's Leicester Square on Monday - and the smitten stars were quick to applaud each other's performances in the comic book blockbuster.
Chatting about Stone, the British actor told reporters: "She is fantastic. We all know and love her and she is just so fluid and present and generous and loving. She's very special."
Meanwhile Stone raved: "We were allowed to improvise a lot. It was wonderful. It was very, very special and we learned a lot."
Director Marc Webb called the onscreen chemistry between the pair the "beating heart" of the movie, adding: "That first romance is something we can all relate to and I think that's what makes the film so special."
The pair fell for one another and began dating while shooting the superhero reboot.
