McCartney 'to sing' Hey Jude at Olympics
Sir Paul McCartney turned down the chance to perform his Beatles classic Hey Jude at Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee Concert because he plans to sing it at the London Olympics instead.

The veteran musician took to the stage outside Buckingham Palace on Monday night to close the star-studded event, and he surprised onlookers by ending his set with Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da rather than his usual curtain call track.
Now it's emerged the rocker deliberately ditched Hey Jude from his setlist to avoid repeating himself when he performs at the Olympic Games in London in July.
A source tells Daily Express: "Paul already knew he was performing at the Olympics opening ceremony when Hey Jude is a definite for the setlist. Understandably, he didn't want to be performing the same song twice at two such high-profile events."
