The choir gave a rendition of Hallelujah, to close Thursday night's UTV Live with a touch of festive cheer.

Saints and Scholars caters for 220 pupils aged 3-11 years old and bring together pupils, staff and governors from Protestant, Catholic, other faiths and no faith backgrounds.

"Saints and Scholars is about cultivating every individual's self respect and therefore their respect for other people and other cultures," they said.

"Our motto is: 'It takes a world of difference to make a different world.'

"Our Mission, with parents and governors, is to promote the overall growth and development of each child within an integrated ethos."

On Friday past, Ballyholme Primary became the first choir to take part in UTV Live this Christmas.

They were followed this week by Holy Rosary Primary School in south Belfast, Holy Family Primary and Nursery School in Derry, and St Conor's Primary School and Nursery Unit in Omagh.

Another school - Irvinestown Primary School - will have its turn in the run-up to the holiday period.
