Air Passenger Rights
In preparation for EU Air Passenger Rights Day on 4 July 2012, the Consumer Council is launching an online survey...
Tuesday, 12 June 2012
It is designed to examine the public's knowledge regarding the rights of passengers with a disability or reduced mobility when travelling by air.
The results of the survey will allow the Consumer Council to assess the level of awareness amongst passengers of their rights under the Access to Air Travel Regulation, the European law that has been in force for four years.
We need your help
The Consumer Council wants to hear from you. The Consumer Council aims to assess awareness amongst all consumers of the rights of people with a disability or reduced mobility when travelling by air. The Regulation could potentially affect anyone as reduced mobility could be due to age, a disability, an illness or a temporary injury. Given that almost two out of five (37 per cent) of households here include at least one person with a disability, it is important that consumers are aware of their rights when travelling by air."
The online survey can be accessed via the transport section of the Consumer Council website or by clicking here.
The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.
The closing date for the survey is Wednesday 27th June 2012. If you would prefer to complete a paper version of the survey or if you would like to complete the survey over the telephone please call 0800 121 6022.
