Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy has said "everyone is exited" to see Tiger Woods make his comeback in two weeks' time.
Speculation is mounting that Woods will return to the golf course at the "behind-closed-doors" Tavistock Cup and then the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Both events are in Orlando, home to the world number one and where he has been practicing since coming out of a sex addiction clinic.
The New York Post say they have been told by "two sources in the golf community" that former presidential advisor Ari Fleisher - brought in to try to repair the image of baseball star Mark McGwire as he admitted using performance-enhancing drugs - is now seeing Woods.
One of the sources allegedly told the newspaper: "They were in his living room this week going over a strategy for how to handle Bay Hill in two weeks."
"It's certainly going to be interesting to see not just how he plays, but how he handles the whole situation," stated McIlroy.
"I think everyone is excited to see him get back out onto the golf course and play golf.
"From the reports I've heard he seems to be swinging it well and as good as he ever was.
"It will be exciting the next few weeks, whenever he comes back. I know a lot of people are saying Tavistock or Bay Hill. It would be nice to see him back."
The Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill in Orlando is on March 25-28, but Woods may first play the unofficial Tavistock Cup on Monday and Tuesday that week.
That is a private annual match between members of Isleworth and Lake Nona clubs and Woods has played for the last four years.
It is less than three weeks since Woods, in his first public appearance since his sex scandal broke at the end of November, said he was not certain to return this year, let alone a month later.
