The game was abandoned while Warrenpoint Town were leading Glenavon 1-0 in Friday night's Danske Bank Premiership tie.

Daniel Hughes had put the home side ahead on the 21st minute against the Lurgan side.

Glenavon player-manager Gary Hamilton had seen a penalty saved by Warrenpoint's keeper Jonathan Parr.

However, after one of the floodlights failed during the interval, referee Ian McNab was left with no option but to abandon the game.

Warrenpoint had been playing their home games at Dungannon's Stangmore Park while upgrade work took place.
