The former Springboks winger, who can also play at full back, has been named in the extended squad ahead of Friday night's Heineken Cup game against Italian side Aironi at Ravenhill.

"David Humphreys collected me at the airport," Terblanche told UTV, as he was introduced to the media on Tuesday afternoon.

"They thought it was a good idea to have a South African barbecue on the first night in the snow - we got a little bit soaked, but the meat tasted good nonetheless!"

Terblanche is looking forward to getting involved in the action with Ulster, although he does have one hope.

"I arrived on Thursday in the snow, so I'm looking forward to a bit of better weather in the next couple of weeks," Terblanche said.

His optimism has to be admired ...
