Tyrone will be out to make amends for last year's defeat in the quarter-finals of the All-Ireland Championship, when they face Dublin at Croke Park this weekend.

Tyrone have won three All-Irelands in the last decade and are quietly confident they can make it four - but, not for the first time, many people are tipping Dublin to go all the way.

Tyrone midfielder Sean Cavanagh, who holds himself partly to blame for last year's defeat, is hoping to prove the doubters wrong.

"Dublin supposedly caught us on the hop (last year) and this year it's probably the reverse in that we've come through the qualifiers, we probably haven't been fancied by that many to make it as far as we have," he told UTV.

"But you know we're reasonably happy to be coming in almost as underdogs in this game and fingers crossed we can spring a surprise."

The winners of Saturday night's game will take on Donegal in the semi-finals.

This is Tyrone's for the taking. They've been playing some good football and is great to see them gell together at this stage of the competition. Last week's match against Roscommon was merely a training session, if Sean Kavanagh is on fire today, Tyrone will progress. Good luck Tyrone
