Tyrone 0-13 1-15 Dublin
Dublin dominated the opening exchanges of the quarter-final clash and were three points up inside the first five minutes following frees from Bernard Brogan and a score from play by Bryan Cullen.
Tyrone replied through Martin Penrose, but another free from Brogan made it 0-4 to 0-1 after 15 minutes.
Goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton converted a 45 after 18 minutes, but Tyrone bounced back though with two scores from Penrose before Brogan again scored from a free.
Owen Mulligan replied in the 24th minute before hitting a great score from play a minute later and eventually levelled the match with a 28th minute free.
Phillip Jordan gave the Red Hands the lead for the first time on the half-hour, before the Dubs replied through a storming long-range effort from corner-back Phillip McMahon.
An injury-time point from Penrose put Tyrone in front once again, and the corner forward almost had a goal with the last kick of the half, but his fierce effort cannoned back off the crossbar.
Both teams seemed evenly matched, but it was Brogan who seemed to cause the most damage for Dublin, again drawing the teams level with his fifth point of the contest in the opening minute of the second half.
Scores from Kevin Hughes and Mulligan were cancelled out by points from Alan and Bernard Brogan, and the corner forward grabbed two more before Brian McGuigan replied for Tyrone.
The Oliver Plunketts clubman took his ninth point of the game in the 55th minute, with Penrose replying two minutes later.
Tyrone were guilty of a host of wides over the next ten minutes, missing the mark five times before Mulligan again equalised in the 64th minute.
However, Mickey Harte's side were dealt a hammer-blow when Dublin grabbed a goal a minute later.
Sub Paul Flynn made a break down the left and when his effort came back off the upright, Eoghan O'Gara was on hand to fire past Pascal McConnell.
Dublin sensed victory was in their grasp and further scores from Conal Keaney and Michael Dara MacAuley sealed a 1-15 to 0-13 victory to send Tyrone out of the competition.
