Third round draw of Irish League Cup

There will be three all-Premiership ties in the third round of the Irish League Cup after the draw for the competition was made on Saturday.

Crusaders, who lost last season's final to Cliftonville on penalties, will face Coleraine in the last 16 while Institute will host Ballinamallard Utd and Glentoran will travel to Glenavon.

The holders face a third round trip to Championship side Carrick Rangers, with Portadown also drawn away from home against Knockbreda.

Elsewhere, Ballymena United are set to host Ballyclare Comrades, Ards face a home tie against Dungannon Swifts and Harland and Wolff Welders will entertain fellow Championship side Bangor.

All third round ties are scheduled to be played on 7 October.
