Seven goals, but never a real thriller as Dungannon Swifts heaped misery on bottom club Lisburn Distillery.
Lisburn Distillery 2 - 5 Dungannon Swifts
Three goals inside the opening 22 minutes set the tone of this match - an open game where neither could impose any dominance and more goals looked on the cards.
And they came, but in the end there was only one team in it after the break, as the County Tyrone side deservedly took the points.
Chris Morgan put the Swifts ahead in the fifth minute capitalising on a back-header that never reached Phil Matthews in the home goal.
Morgan sped forward rounded Matthews and tucked the ball away of the inside of the post.
Seven minutes later more misery for Tommy Wright's side as they ball-watched at a corner and Swifts midfielder Alain Emerson jumped tall to head home from the six yard box.
But the bottom club weren't out of it yet and back they came. Loan signing Joe McDonnell was on hand to blast home after Alvin Rouse had made a good stop to deny Friel.
Tails up, the Whites took control and three minutes before the break they drew level from the penalty spot.
Gary Browne made no mistake after Johnny Montgomery had handled in the box.
There was no time to reflect though as the Swifts dramatically took the lead in added time. Adamson rising at the back post to head home Ryan McIlmoyle's deep cross.
The Swifts took control after the break, polished midfielder Ryan McIlmoyle key to their play and Ryan Mullan outjumped the home defence again to head home a corner on 64 minutes.
The visitors missed more chances before the goal of the game on 76 minutes when Michael Ward controlled McIlmoyle's centre before lobbing the advancing Matthews.
"We became too complacent when we went two nil up so early on," said Swifts boss Dixie Robinson afterwards.
"Fortunately for us we scored before the break but to be fair I thought we totally bossed the second-half."
Tommy Wright's side remain rock bottom ahead of their trip to fellow strugglers Institute on Tuesday.
"The third goal was a real sickener," said Wright afterwards.
"You have got to see the game out and we didn't see it out to half-time and that period of play cost us the game."
