Crusaders 2 - 3 Dungannon Swifts
In a thrilling finish to the game, the Crues equalised in added time to make the score 2-2 but five minutes into stoppage time Neil McCafferty drilled in a sensational winner from 20 yards.
It was cruel on the home side, who came from behind twice in the contest but the Swifts missed several chances in a game they will possibly feel they deserved to win.
The home defence at times looked unstable and on 34 minutes the visitors stormed in front.
Ryan McIlmoyle was given too much time and space on the left wing to deliver a dangerous cross into the box and he did just that.
Timmy Adamson ghosted in between David Magowan and Jonny Magee to power a header into the net from close range.
Just when the Swifts looked like holding on for the victory, the Hatchetmen equalised in the 84th minute.
Coates' header fell to Ryan McCann and the midfielder's shot looped over goalkeeper Alvin Rouse and the goalkeeper only succeeded in making sure the ball crossed the line.
In the 89th minute McIlmoyle rifled the Swifts ahead but in injury time Craig McClean tripped Chris Morrrow in the box and the midfielder stepped up to hammer in the penalty.
However, in the 95th minute, McCafferty, with virtually the last kick of the ball, smashed home a fantastic winner from 20 yards.
