Northern Ireland's Joe Swail has missed out on a place at the World Snooker Championships at the Crucible.
He lost by ten frames to one to former champion Ken Doherty in final qualifying.
The 40-year old Dubliner had things virtually wrapped up by the end of the first session, boasting an 8-1 lead.
Doherty is the only non-British player other than Cliff Thorburn to win the world title, but lost in last year's qualifiers to end a 15-year run at the championships.
Michael Holt sealed his place with a 10-6 win over Irishman David Morris.
Barry Hawkins - at a world ranked 17 and the highest placed competitor in the qualifiers - beat Ian McCulloch 10-7.
Tuesday is the final day of qualifying.
The draw for the televised stages of the Championship take place on Thursday.
