The first half was fast paced with St Patrick's dominating midfield and breaking ball to secure numerous scoring opportunities.
Three points for St Pat's and a goal from Gerard Bradley set the Maghera boys comfortably in front at half time, as St Michael's had to be content with just two points on the board.
St Michael's kept their focus in the second half clawing their way back into the game with three points in the first 10 minutes.
In the 45th minute a second yellow card for Liam Martin threatened St Michael's MacRory Cup hopes as they had to carry on with 14 players.
It was in the 49th minute that they finally took the lead with Eddie Courtney's point from play.
Numerous wides from St Pat's left them lagging behind and they only managed to score one point from Stephen O'Hara in the second half.
Courtney deserved his Man of the Match accolade after clocking up five points for the Enniskillen boys.
