The footballers of St Galls have been training hard ahead of their game in Parnell Park, as they seek to claim the All-Ireland club title that eluded them four years ago.
Many of the squad heading to Dublin were also part of the St Gall's hurling side beaten in the All-Ireland Intermediate final last weekend.
"When you get to the final your aim is to win it and unfortunately we did not turn up that night. When you look back on games and you are beaten by a better team you just have to hold your hands up and say we were not good enough", dual-code player Kieran McGourty told UTV.
Playing both hurling and football is not as common in the modern area, but St Galls are happy to buck the trend.
"My father brought us up playing hurling and football and even a bit of handball here and there and that is what GAA is about and the youngsters in St Gall's play both hurling and football and it is great to see", brother CJ McGourty said.
The odds favour a low-scoring contest on Sunday afternoon, as both sides have been noted for their defensive displays in the competition.
In their last semi-final appearance in 2006, St.Gall's recorded a magnificent 0-10 to 1-6 victory over Nemo Rangers.
AIB GAA Football All-Ireland Club semi-finals:
