He won the T12 200m final in a time of 21.67 seconds on Thursday afternoon.

It comes after Smyth won the 100m race earlier this week.

He recently represented Team Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and won two gold medals at the London Olympics in 2012.

Co Antrim runner Michael McKillop also won gold at the IPC European Athletics Championships after he stormed to victory in the T38 men's 800m race on Wednesday.
