SA lock Muller Ulster bound

UTV understands that South African International Johann Muller is on the verge of a move to Ulster.

The 29-year-old second row has been capped 25 times by the Springboks since 2006 and would link up with his former Natal team mate BJ Botha in Belfast.

The 6 foot 7 inches South African, who captained his national team and the Sharks, would bring physicality and leadership to the Ulster pack next season.

Muller wasn't in the South Africa squad for their recent European tour.

His last test for the Springboks was in July against the British and Irish Lions in Johannesburg.
