Jesse Ryder
New Zealand batsman Jesse Ryder will miss the World Twenty20 Super Eights clash with Ireland after being hospitalised for examination.

Ryder, 24, remained in London for tests on ongoing muscle pain while his team-mates travelled to Trent Bridge for Thursday's match.

He has been dogged by a groin injury in recent times and the Black Caps' medical team are trying to establish if this problem is linked.

New Zealand team manager Dave Currie said: "Jesse is continuing to suffer serious discomfort and has been admitted to hospital for observation and further tests, which we hope will provide a clearer picture of his condition."
