Commonwealth champion Martin Rogan will defend his heavyweight title in Belfast in May at the Odyssey Arena.

Rogan will fight Sam Sexton after stopping Matt Skelton in Birmingham in March, in what promoter Frank Warren described as one of the best heavyweight fights in recent years.

The card will also feature the second professional fights of 2008 Olympic boxers James DeGale, Frankie Gavin and Billy Joe Saunders.

In Beijing, James DeGale became the first British middleweight boxer to win an Olympic gold medal for 40 years.

Gavin was the 2007 World Lightweight Champion and Saunders was one of Great Britain's youngest ever Olympians.

According to promoter Frank Warren, "Belfast is a great fight city and I am delighted to be staging another show there. The fans are amongst the most passionate in the world, and they are in for a real treat on May 15th."
