The Republic of Ireland will play friendlies against Bosnia and Hungary ahead of their bid for Euro 2012 glory, the FAI has confirmed.

Giovanni Trapattoni's men are already due to play the Czech Republic at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on February 29.

They'll now take on Bosnia there on May 26, before jetting off to a pre-training camp - likely to be announced next week as Montecatini in Italy's Tuscany region - from May 27 to June 3.

That will be followed by another friendly, this time against Hungary in Budapest on June 4.

From there, the Republic side will head to the Euro 2012 Polish base camp in Gdynia the next day.

Their first game of the competition proper will be against Croatia in Poznan on June 10, followed by Spain in Gdansk on June 14 and Italy in Poznan on June 18.
