Boyd Rankin believes he has enough fire power to cause the England top order a few problems when he bowls against them in the RSA Challenge one day clash, later this month.
The Ireland paceman memorably bowled Ed Joyce with his first ball when Ireland met England two years ago in the World Cup in the Caribbean.
If, as expected, Rankin takes the new ball against England, it will be only the second time that he will have played an international fixture in Northern Ireland.
The match is scheduled for August 27th at Stormont.
