Twigg scored after 60 minutes to put his side in the lead.

The clash was the only Irish Premier League match to be played on the night as three others were called off, due to the impact of the recent inclement weather on the pitches.

Dungannon Swifts were due to play Linfield, Glentoran should have been playing Glenavon and Ballymena United were set to go up against Donegal Celtic.

But, following inspections, all three host venues have been confirmed as unplayable.

The combination of recent snow melting and further heavy rain has left the pitches at Stangmore Park, the Oval and Ballymena Showgrounds waterlogged.

The postponed fixtures will be rearranged in due course.

I don't follow any team in the Irish league. That said loving football I follow results and try to catch what I can online. This season has made me much more interested though. Ballinnamallard beating everyone earlier in the season, A breath of fresh air to the league they are. Cliftonville & Crue's playing some fantastic football, another great final to come tonight between the 2..... oh and watching Linfield get beat cos quite frankly i was getting sick to death of seeing that team win!

While Crusaders may be bossing the Danske Bank Premiership, it was their North Belfast rivals Cliftonville who made the headlines again this weekend.
