An own goal conceded by Garry Breen within the first minute set the tone for the rest of the match, which was played in Croatia.

Busic scored twice by half time, leaving the Croatian side up 3-0.

This was followed by a hat-trick by Rak, and although Kevin Braniff tried to make a dent in the score, his attempts were foiled, giving Slaven Belupo Koprivnica a full-time lead of 6-0.

However, a number of saves from Ronnie McFall's recently signed goalkeeper, Jamie McArdle, saved the side from an even bigger loss.
