Podium for Laverty at Magny-Cours

The Ulster pair of Jonathan Rea and Eugene Laverty finished second and fourth respectively in Sunday's final World Championship Superbike race at Magny-Cours in France.

In the first race Rea had a spell at the front of the pack before he crashed out.
However, his Honda was so badly damaged that he was unable to continue and that meant dropping to 13th.
Laverty was seventh in the same race.
However, Laverty's Aprilia team-mate Max Biaggi is the new champion.
Rea ended-up fifth in the world rankings with Laverty sixth.
