Northern Ireland golfer Rory McIlroy carded a flawless round of 64 to sit in second place after day one of the Deutche Bank Championship in America.
Playing in the second of the FedEx Cup play off tournaments, the Ulsterman opened his round at the TPC Boston with back to back birdies.
A run of six pars took him from the third to the eighth, before another birdie at the par four ninth hole saw him take the turn in 33 blows.
Pars at ten and eleven were followed by a birdie at the twelfth to go four under and another birdie at the fourteenth would take hime five under par.
Three more pars were the reward for solid golf on holes fifteen, sixteen and seventeen and he capped off a perfect round with an eagle at the par five eighteenth to end the day at seven under, one shot off the lead.
Tiger Woods endured a difficult day shooting a one over par round of 72 that included three bogeys in a row on his back nine.
