The Belfast Giants take on the Sheffield Steelers at home on Friday night and away on Saturday night.
Speaking exclusively to the team's website, Sean McMorrow said he has been looking forward to the clashes for a long time.
"When Mike Sgroi signed in Sheffield, he announced himself as 'The new boss in town'.
"I bossed Sgroi in Sheffield, his town, earlier this month and now he needs to attempt to redeem himself when he comes to Belfast on Friday.
"We both like to police our teams and we both know our roles for our respective teams.
"When I signed for the Giants, I promised to entertain the fans of Belfast and Northern Ireland and to make sure that nobody would go home disappointed," said McMorrow, "and I can guarantee that the only person going home disappointed after Friday's game will be Mike Sgroi."
Speaking on the atmosphere at the home win against league leaders, Coventry, last Saturday night, "It was unbelievable," claimed McMorrow.
"When we scored, the noise levels hit the roof and the fans in the Odyssey were going crazy, it was a fantastic night!
"We (the players) have grown accustomed to having the best fans in the league in Belfast but last Saturday night was something special and I can't wait to get back onto the Odyssey ice on Friday night to hear the fans cheering us on again."
